Wirral Safeguarding Children Partnership (WSCP)

The Children and Social Work Act 2017 replaces LSCBs with new local safeguarding arrangements, led by the three named statutory safeguarding partners (local authorities, chief officers of police, and clinical commissioning groups (health). The three partners assume the responsibilities that previously sat with the WSCB.

On 1st September 2019, new local safeguarding arrangements commenced in Wirral, and have been running for just over a year.

As well as access to the usual mix of topics and presentations, the learning event offers the chance to reflect on and review the new safeguarding arrangements to ensure they work for every organisation, and to inform priorities and direction of travel moving forwards on our improvement journey.
